This page contains many pieces of my written work, from personal projects to practise pieces.

By far the largest amount of work displayed here is poetry. This is because most of my prose is written for future publication and I do not upload those here.

If you seek examples of prose writing then check 'The Glass Teardrop' (Fiction) and 'A Story Well Told' (Non-Fiction).

My predominant genres are children's fiction and fantasy, but others are on display as well. If one piece is not to your taste then please look at the others. There are several different styles here.

Do check to see whether I have stated that the piece you are reading was written for Castle Marrach. This is an online prose Role Playing Game that has often inspired me to practise a new style of writing or produce a fresh piece of work. It is set in a somewhat medieval period, so any old fashioned words or subjects are intentional.

As the purpose of the deviantArt community is to explore the work of others as well as showcase your own, some of the pieces on this page can be viewed as drafts. I am certainly open to useful critique, even on those works I consider complete.

Finally, if you do not find anything of interest on my pages then please look at my 'Favourites' section. I have bookmarked several interesting peices of work by other writers and artists there.
